Law Of Haid (menstruation)

There are many laws of menstruation, there are more than twenty law. but we mention here the laws that we think are needed, among other things:

1. Prayer.

Forbidden for a woman who is menstruating prayers, whether obligatory or sunnat, and if it turns out prayers, her prayer is not valid. The chant, takbir, beads, tahmid, and bismillah when about eating or other work, read the hadith, fiqh, prayers and said Amiin, as well as listening to the Qur'an, it is not forbidden for menstruating women, it is based on the hadith in Saheeh Al-Bukhari and Muslim and other books that the Prophet shollallohu 'alaihi wa sallam never leaned room Radhiyallahi Aisha' anha who was menstruating,
and she read the Qur'an. Reported also in Saheeh Al-Bukhari and Muslim from Umm Athiyah radi 'anha that she heard the Prophet shollallohu' alaihi wa sallam said:
"یخرج العواتق وذوات الخدور والحيض - یعني إلى صلاة العيد - وليشهدن الخير ودعوة المسلمين ویعتزل الحيض المصلى" "Coming out of the girl , virgins and women haid- namely to Idhul Fitr and Adha prayers and that they may come to see the kindness and prayers those who believe. But the menstruating women away from a place of prayer "
While reading the Qur'an for menstruating women themselves, if with the eyes or with the heart without pronounced orally then there was nothing legal, for example, or sheet Qur'an Manuscripts last laid eyes staring ayat- verse while her reading. by An Nawawi in the book Sharh Al Muhadzdzab Juz two things: it may be without any dissent. As if that menstruating women read the Qur'an with oral, then many scholars forbid it and not allow it. But Al-Bukhari, Ibn Jarir At-Tabari and Ibn Mundhir allow it. Also allowed to read the verses of the Qur'an for menstruating women according to Imam Malik and Ash-Shafi'i in his opinion the former, as mentioned in the book Fath al-Bari, as well as by Ibrahim An Nakha'i as narrated by Al-Bukhari. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in Al Fatawa collection of Ibn Qasim said:
"Basically there is no hadith that forbid menstruating women read the Qur'an. While the statement "women who are menstruating and people junub should not read the Qur'an" is a weak Hadith according to the agreement of the experts of hadith.
Should women who are menstruating forbidden to read Qur'an, as well as prayer, in terms of the time of the Prophet shollallohu 'alaihi wa sallam the women having periods, of course this includes those described shollallohu Prophet' alaihi wa sallam to his people, known by his wife as mothers of the mu'minin, and delivered friend to others.
However, no one has said that there is no prohibition of the Prophet shollallohu 'alaihi wa sallam in this matter. Therefore, should not be judged unlawful for shollallohu known that the Prophet 'alaihi wa sallam did not forbid it, whereas many women in the days of her menstrual period, meaning it is not unlawful. After knowing the difference of opinion among the scholars, should we say, more important for women who are menstruating are not reading the Qur'an orally, unless necessary. For example, a female teacher who needs to be taught to read the Qur'an to her students, or a student who at the time of the exam need to be tested in reading the Qur'an, and so forth.

2. Forbidden fasting for women who are menstruating

Fasting either mandatory or sunnat, and unauthorized fasting does. But he is obliged manqadha 'fasting is required, based on the hadith narrated by Aisha radi' anha:
"آان یصيبنا ذلك, تعني الحيض, فنؤمر بقضاء الصوم ولا نؤمر بقضاء الصلاة"
"When we are having periods, commanded us to make up 'fasting and not ordered to make up the 'prayer (hadith muttafaq' alaih).

3. Thawaf

Forbidden for a woman who is menstruating do tawaf Kaaba, either mandatory or sunnah, and unauthorized thawafnya, based on the words of the Prophet shollallohu 'alaihi wa sallam to Aisha: "افعلي ما یفعل الحاج غير أن لا تطوفي بالبيت حتي تطهري"
"Do what is being done pilgrims, just do not do tawaf of the Kaaba before ye holy "
as for other obligations such as sa'i between Safa and dignity, standing at Arafat, staying overnight in Muzdalifah and Mina, throwing jumrah and practices in addition to Hajj and Umrah it is not forbidden. On this basis, if a woman does thawaf in a state of purity, then exit the menstrual blood immediately after tawaf or in the middle of doing sa'i, then there is nothing legal. 4. Silence in Forbidden mosque for women who are menstruating dwell in the mosque, even forbidden for him also dwells in the Eid prayer place.
